Lent fundraising 2021
Each year we raise funds during Lent for the Good Shepherd appeal. Each class and some groups in school organise a different activity. The activities this year are listed below:
Nursery - Easter bonnet competition
Reception and Year 1 - Juice and biscuit sale
Year 2 - Guess the name of the bunny competition
Years 3 & 4 - Easter raffle
Year 5 - Easter eggstravanganza word competition
Year 6 - Colouring and quiz competitions
Mini Vinnies - Easter Bingo
Chaplaincy Team - Lent through a lens competition
We all came together on the last day of term before the Easter holiday to find out who the winners were. We also enjoyed a brilliant Easter bonnet parade.
We raised a fantastic £550 for the Good Shepherd Appeal! Well done everyone!
CAFOD Fundraising 2021
In June, we held a 'Book and Game Swap' to raise funds for CAFOD.
Lots of children kindly donated old books, games and jigsaws that they no longer needed. The Chaplaincy Team set them all out for the school to look at and buy.
We raised £258 to donate to CAFOD, which will help children in need. Well done everyone and thank you for your support!
